Sebastian Allison joins Arch Insurance Australia’s property team.

Sydney, 1 March 2021 – Arch Insurance Australia (Arch or the Company) has today announced the appointment of Sebastian Allison as Senior Underwriter, Property, with immediate effect.

In this role, Allison will be responsible for driving further diversification and growth across the Company’s property and business interruption insurance portfolio, which specialises in the hospitality, low hazard SME, poultry and retail sectors. He will report to Mark Bailey, Underwriting Manager, Property at Arch Insurance Australia.

Allison is a highly technical underwriter with over eight years of experience in the property insurance sector. He re-joins Arch Insurance Australia, having previously worked within the property insurance team. Most recently he held the position of Underwriter at Liberty Specialty Markets, and previous roles in the sector include Property Underwriter at SLE Worldwide Australia.

Commenting on the announcement, Dominic Brannigan, Regional Manager, Australia, said: “We are very excited that Seb is joining our growing property insurance team, particularly given his extensive market knowledge and breadth of broker connections. We see strong market potential to expand our position, not only in the property sector but across other business lines. He will play a key role in supporting that growth strategy.”
