Arch Part VII Transfer

Update

In March 2019, we announced plans to continue to pursue and support our EEA business after the UK’s decision to leave the European Union. The current Brexit transition period is scheduled to end on 31 December 2020.

As part of our Brexit plan, Arch Insurance (UK) Limited (AIUK) proposes to transfer certain EEA policies to its affiliate, Arch Insurance (EU) dac (AIEU) under Part VII of the Financial Services and Market Act 2000 (UK). We refer to this as the Part VII Transfer.

On 18 December 2020, the High Court of Justice of England and Wales approved the Part VII Transfer of the EEA policies (excluding inwards reinsurance) of Arch Insurance (UK) Limited to its Irish affiliate, Arch Insurance (EU) dac.

On this page you can find all the relevant legal documents about the Part VII Transfer in English and, where applicable, Italian, Spanish and German.
